Build Bear Basketball
question for moms with boys?
It's almost my little cousin's birthday and he's turning 10. I was wondering whether or not you thought this was a good present for a boy...
I was thinking of getting him a build a bear teddy bear and dressing it in a basketball outfit since he likes basketball. What do you think?
I'm not a mom, but I've babysat for almost nothing but little boys for the past ten years. In my experience kids grow out of stuffed animals around age eight, especially boys. If he likes basketball, how about getting him a brand new, really cool basketball. Or, a jersey of his favorite team/player. You can also ask his parents if there is anything he's been asking for that they haven't got him, or get together with a few family members and get him new basketball shoes. But, yeah, teddy bear is probably not the best choice.
