Bisque doll....remove paint?
Is it possible to remove the paint from a bisque dolls face? I recently acquired a reproduction doll and her facepaint is horrid. I believe I can do a better job. I'm not even sure if the paint was fired on or not, I really just don't know. 
I've been trying to look this up and it seems kind of confusing. Thanks for the replies!
oh, also, if there is a good, well read forum for vintage/antique doll collecting, that isn't soley about Blythe, I'd love to check that out as well!

most bisque dolls the painting is fired on, in a kiln. It has to be sanded off with glass sand paper which is very hard to find, other sand papers will mar the bisque, it is around motion of sanding. It takes Special brushes long and numbered 0000(size) to repaint they are made especially for brows and lashes, there are fatter brushes for check color. You should practice you technique on another doll first. Hope this gives you an idea of the process.
